Quick answer: compare the same quantity
First check whether each result describes wet concrete m³, complete premix bags or cement and aggregates for a site batch. Then match dimensions, depth, allowance, supplier rounding and recipe or product yield. Different assumptions can produce different honest totals.
PPC concrete calculator
PPC’s product calculator offers concrete, mortar, plaster and screed applications with product and strength selections. Those application choices matter. Do not copy one product’s material quantities into another calculator as a universal cement-to-concrete yield. The 99Tools recipe option requires your actual confirmed batch and yield instead.
AfriSam concrete calculator
AfriSam’s calculator includes concrete-related applications and a readymix volume option. Match the selected application and any displayed allowance before comparing totals. A material layer shown alongside a surface-bed result is not automatically extra wet concrete to order.
BUCO concrete calculator
BUCO provides a concrete calculator as part of its materials-calculator services. If your eventual purchase is a bagged product, check the exact bag’s intended use and finished yield separately. A generic retailer name or bag mass does not establish the yield required by the bag calculation.
Cashbuild concrete calculator searches
When comparing an estimate for a Cashbuild purchase, obtain the actual item or branch quotation, product instructions and supply unit. The 99Tools tool can use your quoted information, but it does not connect to a Cashbuild basket, confirm branch stock or load live prices.
Allowance and rounding explain many differences
One tool may show measured volume, another include a percentage, and another round to packs or a supplier increment. Repeating the allowance during a conversion to bags increases the result twice. Compare the breakdown rather than only the headline total.
Independent tools and app claims
99Tools is not the official calculator of any named manufacturer or retailer. Its concrete calculations run in a browser without a visitor account or app download. Do not assume it reproduces a branded calculator’s product database, strength selections or offline installation features.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the official PPC or AfriSam concrete calculator?
No. 99Tools is an independent quantity tool. Use the actual manufacturer information for product performance and suitable mixes.
Can I use a BUCO or Cashbuild quote here?
Yes. Enter the actual dimensions, supply unit, finished yield or quote rates where the tool asks for them.
Why do the bag totals differ between calculators?
Check finished yield, allowance, required versus supplied quantity and pack rounding first.
