Maxi Brick Prices and Pallets: How to Compare Quotes

Compare maxi brick quotes for the exact product and purchase unit. A pallet price only becomes meaningful when you know how many bricks it contains. Calculate wall quantity first, round to the required purchasing units and use your current quote for the material budget.

Start with product details

Record the product name, manufacturer, material, dimensions and their stated order, installed coverage and required strength specification. Maxi cement bricks are not one universal format. A quote for a different size can change the number of units needed for the wall, so compare a suitable completed specification rather than assuming every maxi is interchangeable.

How many maxi bricks in a pallet?

Ask for the actual units per pallet on the selected quote. The number can vary with the product and packing arrangement. Do not assume every supplier uses 200, 240 or 500 units. If the seller supplies individual bricks, use an individual-unit quantity rather than inventing a pallet requirement. Confirm any pallet deposit or non-refundable charge separately.

Unit price versus pallet price

For a hypothetical pallet of 200 units priced at R1,000, the arithmetic equivalent is R5 per unit before other charges. This is an example, not a current market price. If the order needs four such pallets, material cost is R4,000. A supplier selling the required units individually may produce a different total from full-pallet purchasing.

Cashbuild, Build it and Corobrik prices

Obtain a fresh quote for the selected item and delivery location. Match pack count, product size, tax basis and included charges. A search result or old promotion does not prove current price, local stock or availability near you. 99Tools is independent and does not load the retailer’s live basket, price list or branch inventory.

Include delivery and pallet terms

Delivery and offloading can change the paid material total. Clarify whether pallets are returnable, whether a deposit is refundable and what conditions apply. The calculator’s extra pallet charge field is for a non-refundable quoted cost per purchased pallet. Do not treat a potentially refundable deposit as a permanent material cost without checking the terms.

Separate materials from the installed wall

A maxi brick purchase is only part of the project. Mortar, labour, foundations, reinforcement, openings, lintels, finishes and access may need separate quotations. Use the Brick Wall Calculator for a broader entered budget. Machinery, moulds and second-hand brickmaking equipment concern manufacturing, not the quantity of purchased units needed for this wall.

Frequently asked questions

What is a maxi brick?

Maxi is a product description used for larger masonry formats, including cement products. It does not define one universal size, coverage or strength; confirm the exact manufacturer item.

What is the size of a maxi brick?

Sizes vary. The calculator’s initial example is 290 × 140 × 90 mm in length × width × height order. Other products and labelled dimension orders differ, so confirm the laid wall face.

How many maxi bricks are needed per m²?

Use the selected product’s installed coverage. A 290 × 90 mm wall face with 10 mm joints gives 33.333 units/m² geometrically for one leaf, before waste.

How many maxi bricks are in a pallet?

There is no universal count. Enter units per pallet from the exact product quote, or use zero pack size when purchasing individual units.

How much is a maxi brick or pallet?

Enter a current quote per unit or per full pallet. Price depends on product, location, date and delivery; this calculator does not publish a live national price.

Can I use it for Cashbuild or Build it products?

Yes. Enter the exact item’s dimensions or coverage, pallet quantity and quoted price. This is an independent tool and does not retrieve retailer prices or stock.

Does a maxi brick making machine belong in this calculator?

No. This tool estimates purchased units for walls. Machine output, mould specifications and manufacturing economics need a separate assessment.
